Associate Vice President - Campus Planning and Facilities Management

As the Associate Vice President, Campus Planning, Facilities Management and the Office of Sustainability I continue to be an important member of the senior management team at UFV, providing advice and guidance on matters relating to physical plant and assets, campus planning, campus development, land development, sustainability in its broadest of terms and capital planning as well as the capital project execution.

The office of the AVP is responsible for the planning and implementation of effective short- and long-term vision and goals for the use and development of campus lands. The AVP is responsible for ensuring university campus and facilities plans align with the universities academic mission, vision and values as well as its core drivers related to indigenization, decolonization, equity, diversity and inclusion. The AVP oversees capital projects, design and construction services, physical plant management, energy management and sustainability initiatives and university related real estate functions. The AVP is further responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction, and administrative oversight for the divisional departments within their portfolio.
