International & National Presenter

Mark has presented as a subject matter expert (SME) at a number of international, national and provincial forums in Canada and abroad. Related to topics in construction, (sustainability) management, student housing and Planetary Health. Future topics will include Sustainability Management and strategic planning. Recent presentations include speaking in Ecuador on September 2019 for the Ecuadorian Military on the topic of relationship building & development with indigenous communities at the SHURE conference in Vancouver BC on April 2023 - the mission of the SHURE Initiative is to improve student lives and enhance the built environment in university neighbourhoods, and twice at the CAUBO 2023 (Conference for Administrative University Business Officers) in Toronto on topics related to building envelope replacement, deep decarbonization and ESG reporting as well as managing uncertainty in the construction industry through new construction procurement methods, LEAN applications and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and most recently at the 2024 Globe Forum in Vancouver, BC.
